We were very pleased with our breakfast experience at Bubbyˋs. The service was excellent…professional, exact, but not overbearing. The breakfast meals were excellent in both quality and quantity. The diner atmosphere was perfect. The overall value was excellent. We look forward to returning.

Very good. Bacon jam cheeseburger was a hit. White gravy on country fried steak was great. Ham was a hit. Went back the next day for breakfast. Excellent.

The waitress, very friendly, prompt, funny and personable. The service was very prompt. Our meals came out within minutes.
The food was excellent, I highly recommend.
The decor was so cute. We will definitely go back.

Daddy/Daughter lunch day and she picked Bubby’s Diner based solely on the name. (Similar to cat’s nickname.)
A cute little place, Bubby’s is modeled after 50s era diners. I was almost disappointed that there wasn’t 50s era music playing, but that may have been by design based on the clientele.
Bubby’s has several interesting burger and hot dog options which I look forward to trying, but today we both ordered “meat & three”. Daughter had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes/gravy, hashbrown casserole and green beans. Healthy serving of all three and she didn’t talk much while she was eating, if you catch my drift! I had the country-fried steak w/white gravy with fried green tomatoes, turnip greens and pintos. The meat was frankly better than I expected based on experiences elsewhere, with delicious creamy gravy, and the sides were all properly good. The rolls served with our plates were also a real treat! More like a small, soft biscuit with cheese baked inside and a seasoned butter brushed on top, simply yummy and much better than they needed to provide.
Afterwards we treated ourselves to a root beer float and chocolate malt, the latter of which was plenty enough to share. Both were generous and properly yummy!
On top of all that good food, our server Tisha was on top of things! Kept waiting to a minimum, kept glasses full and made sure all of our wants and needs were met with a cheerful demeanor.
This restaurant is a welcome addition to a somewhat gentrified part of the city, the latest to inhabit an established location. I hope and pray that they get the business and success that they are working so hard to deserve.

Easy parking. Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent service. We shared several dishes at our table, mostly veggies. I appreciate that the turnip greens and green beans contained little meat or no meat, not sure which, but I don’t like visible meat in my veggies. Mashed potatoes were on point. Fried okra was hot and fresh. Pinto beans were good. Country fried steak was pounded and had a nice light breading. We all enjoyed our meals!
