Such a great dinner. Easy parking. Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent service. We shared several dishes at our table, mostly veggies. I appreciate that the turnip greens and green beans contained little meat or no meat, not sure which, but I don’t like visible meat in my veggies. Mashed potatoes were on point. Fried okra was hot and fresh.
Had the meat and three and it was very good. Friendly and prompt service. Physical location is rather small, but there was space up at the counter. The only thing that I would improve on is when you serve the turnip greens, PLEASE drain some of the juice/water off before serving. I know it’s mouse nuts stuff but I hate fightin with the liquid.
I recently ate again at Bubby’s, and I must say their hamburgers, hot dogs, and catfish are absolutely delicious. The quality is wonderful and the prices are reasonable. It’s hard to beat. The portion sizes were also generous. The diner has a classic diner aesthetic and friendly atmosphere, making it a great spot to enjoy a satisfying meal.
